Hartelijke groet! Simone | Dear readers, Last Friday I had surgery on my collarbone. I'm still recovering, but this morning I went to work anyway, this time in a small format (20/20 centimeters). The same colors as the last time (turquoise, bright green, red, white, black). The fun (but difficult) thing of working on small size, is that you can easily work on multiple things at the same time. I now have five sheets of 20/20 centimeters in progress simultaneously. This is the first. Thanks for visiting, and have a nice day! Simone |

Simone, against all reason, I do keep painting! Truth to tell, that is a big reason why my days feel so overfull—I almost never opt not to paint, but nothing else opts to remove itself from my plate. Busy, busy, busy. I did manage to make a list, with links, of all the supplies I'll need to take my January class. Then I passed my list to my husband and children and Santa : )

Happy new year to you, too! Yes to all of the above: never opting in for not painting, meanwhile having SO many other things to do, but getting such happiness and energy from painting. I have struggled significantly to find a happy balance for several weeks now. I'm hoping that January might provide some openness.
