Groetjes! Simone | Dear readers, Today I'm back in the 'normal' colors: so away from only blue, red and yellow. I missed the brightness of the other colors. The experiment of the last days is successful anyway because I have learned something. Today I continued with the size 20/20 cm. Quite a struggle : a lot of 'restoration-works' on this piece... I think I maybe tomorrow might start again with my five-minute paintings'. Not in order to provide a "finished" piece of work, but to get into the flow and working without thinking. Another thing that I want to try today is to see how this painting turns out in shades of gray. I got this idea from Jane Davies. A values' study, so to speak. Below you can find it Greetings! Looks great in grayscale! Well done! You mention wanting to to get back into the flow and work without thinking but I want to let you know that my first response to your painting today (hadn't yet read what you'd written) was to be drawn to its feeling of intuition and free spirit.
