Dear fellow-painters,
It is really a pity that this 30-day challenge is over. I want to thank Leslie Saeta who is hosting it, and I am looking forward to the next one, if she offers one.
This 30-day kind of thing really helped me to get started and to stay true to my painting.
I will continue this blog, and I hope I will be bold enough one day to share my work with more people. Right now I''m telling hardly anybody that I'm doing this weblog ;-)
I also enjoyed working on the piece above.
Just for fun I made photographs of the whole process. I will post them below later.
This thought occurred to me: 'You have to get yourself in trouble, and paint your way out of it...'
Not staying on the safe side, and not be afraid to mess it up.
Sometimes this happens, and that is a wonderful experience.
And sometimes I feel really cramped, and want to make Good Art....
Usually that doesn't work out ;-)

Thanks for visiting, and keep on painting!
ps: below I post the 'history' of this painting. For me also interesting how things develop.
For me it really is about jumping in and creating problems for myself (for instance, those black lines and the big red dot at the end...) And then wondering how I will solve those again ;-)
